COVID-19 Update

UNITE AGAINST COVID-19

As per the latest agreement between the Federal Government & the Heads of Government of the Federal States it has been regulated that overnight accommodation offers in Germany can only be used for necessary & explicitly not for touristic purposes.

This means we might not be able to uphold your reservation with us (please check the criteria below).

It is not an easy situation for us, but want to do everything in our power to help slowing down the spread of COVID-19.

Therefore we kindly ask you to come back to us & determine whether the nature of your stay is:

a) Exemptions for Key Profession (medical workers and security personnel) and business travelers

If you belong to the so-called key persons including other accommodation by separate official order and want to stay with us, please send us an email and include proof of your profession at welcome@homebase-apartments.com.

If you are traveling for business purposes, please send us a filled-out city tax exemption form in PDF file to welcome@refugiumdeluxe.com until one day before your arrival.

Rest assured that we are employing the highest standards with our apartments' sanitation to ensure a safe stay and our self-check-in with PIN code helps to minimize social contact.

b) For touristic/personal purposes

Please cancel your booking as soon as possible to comply with the latest official regulations. Please send us a short email or inform the third-party (Booking.com, HRS, Expedia) you booked with.

Your options

a) Date change
You can change the date of your stay to another date within the next year. No change fees apply. This applies to all bookings; also bookings out of the free cancellation period & bookings under a non-refundable rate.

b) Voucher
You may choose a voucher for the full amount of your booking. The voucher will be valid for 1 year & can be used for direct bookings on our website.

Stay tuned

We are monitoring the situation closely and taking action based on the recommendations of the National Government, the World Health Organization (WHO), Robert Koch Institute (RKI) & local authorities and will keep you updated throughout the next weeks.

This is an extraordinary situation for all of us, and we are doing the best to find good solutions for you & your stay. We appreciate for your patience and support on this.

We are sending all of you positive energy in this difficult time & sincerely hope that that this crisis will unite us instead of divide us!
